Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The Senior
Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the ILO Country Office in Egypt by enhancing strategic communications and partnership coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education
and Scientific Research (MoHESCR) for the Be Ready Presidential Initiative and the THAMM Plus project. This involves strengthening collaboration mechanisms between the ILO and MoHESCR to
ensure effective implementation of both initiatives, which aim to improve employability and labor mobility in Egypt. The consultant"s responsibilities will include planning and executing
key activities under the Be Ready Initiative, which has already reached over 18,000 students across 20 public universities, focusing on employability skills, career guidance, and
innovation. As part of this effort, the consultant will facilitate resource mobilization to secure additional funding, including potential partnerships with organizations like UNICEF. The
consultant will maintain regular coordination with MoHESCR, serving as the primary communication channel to ensure that both parties are informed about progress, challenges, and
opportunities for collaboration. This role requires the consultant to provide guidance on joint implementation modalities, such as drafting Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and shared
work plans, as well as organizing bilateral planning and review meetings. Regular updates on key activities and quarterly planning sessions will be essential for adapting to changing
circumstances and maintaining momentum. In addition, the consultant will support joint engagement initiatives with other stakeholders, including UNDP, private sector actors, and other
