Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) Country Office for Nepal is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Develop an evidence-based discussion paper on social protection for Nepali migrant workers, including care and domestic workers based on: • Review existing social protection schemes for Nepali migrant workers, focusing on eligibility, benefits, and procedures. • Assess migrant workers" inclusion in the SSF, analysing uptake, contributions, and challenges using data and stakeholder input. • Evaluate awareness and understanding of entitlements, and the effectiveness of outreach and enrolment mechanisms. • Identify legal, institutional, and practical barriers, and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve access, simplify processes, and enhance coordination.
