Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO has
maintained and developed a system of international labour standards aimed at promoting opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work, in conditions of freedom,
equity, security and dignity. The ILS take three forms: Conventions, Protocols, and Recommendations. As of 2025, the ILO has developed 192 Conventions, 6 Protocols and 209
Recommendations. In 1994, the ILO translated and published International Labour Conventions and Recommendations, Volume I (1919–1969) and Volume II (1970–1993). In 2010, it further
translated and printed Volume III (1994–2007). To assist the Chinese government, employers" and workers" organizations, as well as relevant institutions, research bodies, and scholars
in gaining a comprehensive understanding of recent developments and the content of International Labour Standards, the ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia and the China Social
Insurance Association have agreed to collaborate on translating and publishing International Labour Conventions and Recommendations, Volume IV The External Collaborator is to prof-reading
and editing the draft Chinese translation of international Labour Conventions and Recommendations, Volume IV. Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary
