Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator in Civil Engineering to oversee and monitor the project’s implementation agreements in the governorate of Amman. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: 1. Oversee the implementation agreements with the relevant directorates of MOA 2. Oversee the contractor tendering process and awarding with MOA 3. Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports for PROSPECT project’s team 4. Represent the ILO in the field and perform day-to-day coordination with the MOA and its relevant directorates, workers and suppliers according to the needs and requirements on site. 5. Apply quality control and safety procedures on site for the maintenance and rehabilitation works that will be taking place by supervising the partners performance and reporting any discrepancies of quality and quantities of work to be completed. 6. Alert the project team of any potential challenges in advance to mitigate delay-related risks. 7. Provide on-site coaching and training for the engineers, technicians and workers about and labour resource-based matter 8. Ensure MOA’s adherence to the Cash-for-Work SOP, project’s contract and the TORs 9. Ensure MOA’s adherence to the principle of “Do no harm” in recruitment and project implementation 10. Ensure that the worker payment practice is set on timely manner according to the CFW SOP and ministry of labour rules. 11. Responsible for the preparation and verification of a database for worker attendance sheets, payrolls, etc. 12. Support with all other tasks as requested by the project team.
