Background

From 28 to 30 October 2025, the Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases (PND) unit in WHO/WPRO will convene the Regional Workshop on Translating Data into Policy Action for NCD Prevention in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The workshop will strengthen data-to-action frameworks for NCD prevention, building on regional lessons and addressing persistent challenges. It will focus on interpreting and applying diverse data sources to assess policy alignment, identify gaps, and support the development of targeted, evidence-informed action plans to advance strategic goals outlined in key regional NCD initiatives and vision papers.
