Below is a summary of the work to be performed.Specifically, the roadmap will outline: • Key steps in the formalization process and the government offices responsible for implementation. • Major barriers and challenges to formalization that relevant agencies must address. • Initial target groups that can facilitate the transition of nano enterprises into the formal economy. Justify the choice of target group, e.g. readiness to formalize, critical for market access, cross-section of firm sizes, growth prospects. • Strategic actions, interventions, and policies to promote formalization, with a focus on business registration and social protection—including proposed timelines, responsible agencies, and progressive targets. • A monitoring and evaluation framework to assess formalization efforts, defining reporting responsibilities, feedback mechanisms, and training/technical support. • Collaborative measures and institutional focal assignments to foster coordination among stakeholders, government agencies, and private sector partners in strengthening formalization efforts.
