Assignment: Hiring a National Consultant for Development of Competency Based Learning Materials (CBLMs) for the Light Engineering Sector.

Contract type: External Collaboration contract

Location: Home-based

Duration of Ex-Col contract: 90 working days over the period of 4.5 months (tentatively the assignment will be started in mid-July 2025. The date will be finalized after completion of the recruitment process).

12. Qualifications and Experience of the Consultant

Academic Qualification

The consultant(s) must have the following minimum qualification and experience for the submission of proposal:

1. Masters degree in education or TVET along with Certificate/Diploma in Training and Assessment with specific focus on development of Instructional Materials;

Experience

1. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in TVET, skills development and training as well as specialist in competency-based training (CBT) and assessment at practice level.
2. At least 3 years proven experience in developing Competency-Based Learning Materials for the relevant occupations.
3. Consultant may submit the proposal for either all 3 occupations or for any individual occupation (s),

13. Application Requirements

Interested individuals must submit the following documents/information:

• Personal CV, indicating all past experiences from similar assignments, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the candidate and at least three (3) professional references.
• Financial proposal, specifying the professional fees for this assignment. The proposal is to be submitted through the attached standard template (ANNEX 01).
• Copy of a recent contract to be submitted as evidence of daily fees offered to the candidate for similar assignments by other agencies (preferably by any UN agency, Multilateral Development Bank, or bilateral donors).
• Evidence of relevant past publications, CBLMs or reports

14. Proposal Submission Procedure and Submission Deadline:
