Independent expert to support development of a discussion paper on options to improve coverage of workers’ compensation among micro and small businesses in the Pacific. (Албания - Тендер #62218864)

The independent expert will be tasked with drafting, on the basis of desk research and key informant interviews, a discussion paper presenting different models, best practices and lessons learned in regard to improving the coverage of workers compensation among micro and small businesses in the private sector. Particular attention will be given to outlining the respective pros and cons of public (social insurance) vs. private (competitive market) insurance provision, and a specific analysis of the Marshall Islands context will be presented with actionable recommendations to increase coverage.
