Description
UNICEF has now issued an Invitation to Bid in order to select a supplier for the provision of DONOR CARE SUPPORT SERVICES The core UNICEF Private Fundraising & Partnerships (PFP) team
is comprised of a limited number of staff who lead, manage and implement individual donor and corporate fundraising. To enable the section to deliver income and other targets effectively,
additional assistance in specific areas/ tasks is required such as development of donor communication material, donor database management, and back-end processing for donations received.
These duties are critical day-to-day support to the various fundraising channels and activities the country office carries out i.e. direct mail, face-to-face fundraising, telemarketing,
and digital fundraising. The back-end processes include, amongst others: daily updating of the donor database; monitoring and validating of entry of gifts and donations received;
monitoring and validating telemarketing call lists, responding to donor inquiries and complaints via phone, email and social media (community management); making verification calls,
saving calls and follow-ups to donors; generating, monitoring and validating monthly pledge and one off gift processing; reprocessing & recording of monthly pledge and one-off gifts;
generating reports; development of material content and graphic design; sending individual acknowledgment and thank you receipts for all donations received; messengerial services for
donation pick-ups within Metro Manila; regular database clean-up; and letter shopping/assembly of donor materials. The outsourcing of back-end support for PFP operations is in line with
current best practices at UNICEF PFP as it provides the section with greater control and flexibility to manage their data and monetize donations to the fullest extent possible. This
tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system. By clicking on the blue ‘Express Interest’ button in the UNGM tender notice, the full UNICEF e-submission system
instructions to bidders document (including instructions on how to access the tender documents and submit an Offer) will be automatically emailed to the ‘contact persons’ included in
your UNGM registration. Alternatively, the full UNICEF e-submission system instructions to bidders document is publicly available on the UNICEF supply internet pages here:
https://www.unicef.org/supply/index_procurement_policies.html . In the tender management site, if you navigate to the documents tab and opt in to confirm your intention to submit a Bid
– you will then see the mandatory placeholders for documents that must be attached prior to submitting your Offer (you will also see if there are any mandatory questionnaires to
complete). As such, you are recommended to `opt in` well before the submission deadline so you are clear exactly what documents are required to be uploaded prior to completing your
submission. Please note that in order to access the tender documentation through UNICEF’s e-submissions system, vendors must: (i) be registered with UNICEF in UNGM as a company/NGO;

recommended to regularly log in to the UNICEF e-submissions system to check for any deadline extensions, new clarifications, new correspondence or updated tender documents relating to
this tender. NOTE: ( ONLY SUPPLIERS IN THE PHILIPPINES ARE REQUESTED TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL)
