ASSIGNMENTS OBJECTIVES
The ILO is seeking to partner with an NGO that has (1) an existing employment office/activity with experience in recruiting and hiring refugees and Egyptians from host communities; and (2) in the personal care services and domestic work sectors.
The potential partners proposal is expected to include a business model to deliver employment services efficiently and effectively and achieve a sustainable cost recovery by the end of the programme.
Accordingly, the partnerships expected results:
1. Outreach and training for refugees and Egyptians from host communities in the target sectors:
o Improved employability profiling exercise by collecting socioeconomic data of refugees and asylum seekers.
o Tailored, practical, and market-driven skills development support is provided to refugees and host communities.
2. Target groups are employed in the target sectors:
o Marketing and promotion for potential clients / Employers outreach.
o A market-driven and realistic job matching and placement.
3. Financial sustainability is achieved through the projects activities and a plan for expansion is in place.
