Description

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Lebanon, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Provision and Commissioning of Solar system upgrade for Civil Defence Tohwita, Civil Defence Cola, Municipality of Beirut and Karasoun Manoug School in Bourj Hamound. The project aims to equipping two civil defence centers in Greater Beirut area and the Municipality of Beirut with phtovoltaic systems to alleviate the energy crisis faced by these public facilities strengthen civil protection, firefighting interventions, municipal and basic services. also aims to upgrade the existing solar system in Karasoun Manoug School in Bourj Hammoud. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: * Temporary works and site protection, fencing and lighting; *Supplying the required equipment to execute all the required works including but not limited to: - Transport material and equipment to the different parts of the project; - Ensure storage areas and disposal sites; - Generate compressed air; - Supply water and power to complete the works; - Keep the site free of water for excavation, backfilling and concrete works; - Supply compressed water (not less than 2 bars); - Accomplish excavation including removal of excavated material and backfilling; - Mix, transport and cast concrete including reinforcement steel works; - Supply, install and test pipes and related fittings and accessories (if necessary); - Install wrought steel (where and if necessary); - Perform geotechnical investigations, and trial pit excavation for uncovering utilities (where and if necessary); - Supply, install and test mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electromechanical equipment. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UN-Habitat reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN"s sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UN-Habitat invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email.
