Description

The United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) in New York intends to award a multi-year contract (3+2+2 years) to an IATA-registered travel agency (travel management services provider - "TMS") to provide air and rail travel reservations, quotations, ticketing, and related standard travel services in line with UN travel policy. Services include but will not be limited to ticket issuance/delivery, revalidation, re-routing, re-issuance, processing refunds, and cancellations, management of unused tickets, and preparation of suitable itineraries (including alternative routings, departures, and arrivals). The TMS provider is expected to be able to support or provide technology for an online booking tool, as well as offer a full complement of travel management, client support, and reporting applications and tools. The contract resulting from a future tender exercise shall be all-inclusive. The TMS shall be responsible for providing all the necessary personnel, supervision, transport, and other equipment, materials, consumables, supplies, and all necessary arrangements to ensure the fulfillment of its obligations under the contract for its entire duration. The TMS provider is expected to offer hybrid onsite and offsite operations.
