RFP-2023-90- Technical Support Consultant Youth-Led Responses & Adolescent and Young Key Population Engagement (Албания - Тендер #46218278)

UNAIDS Youth Programme aims to increase youth leadership, ownership, and mobilization in the AIDS response at all levels to work to achieve the goals and targets set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the 2021 Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS and the Global AIDS Strategy.

To achieve this, UNAIDS is seeking a consultant to support the Youth Programmes to deliver on the strategic priorities and key activities established for the UNAIDS Youth Programme for 2024, particularly those focused on providing technical assistance on issues related to youth-led responses and young key populations.

Under the supervision of the UNAIDS Youth Programmes Coordinator, the consultant will:
" Support the provision of technical support to The PACT and the process of implementing its strategic agenda and resource mobilization activities.
" Provide technical assistance to youth-led organizations to build their capacities to lead on youth-led monitoring and accountability projects supported by the UNAIDS Youth Programme.
" Support the analysis, synthesis, layout, and dissemination of the latest evidence related to young people and HIV in youth-friendly formats.
" Lead UNAIDSs engagement with the adolescent and Young Key Populations Partnerships in coordination with cosponsors and youth networks.
" Support the interaction with the UNAIDS Youth Team, providing secretarial functions and facilitating communications and workstreams within the youth team.
" Support the provision of technical inputs to the UNAIDS country, regional, and global functions, and other relevant stakeholders at the intersections of youth and HIV.
" Support the logistics of events related to the UNAIDS youth agenda, including preparing background documents and supporting materials and brokering space for youth engagement in advocacy and decision-making spaces.
" Participate and take notes during inter-agency or multi-stakeholder meetings and events relevant to the work of the UNAIDS Youth Programme in the absence of the UNAIDS Advisor on Youth Engagement.
" Contribute to drafting talking points, presentations, and briefs to ensure that key advocacy messages and evidence on young people and HIV are included in UNAIDS high-level participation.
" Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
