United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit tenders by email as follows:
The purpose of the assignment is to up-scale/expand the existing Early Warning System (EWS) in Sanaa Yemen. The objective is to enhance disaster preparedness, response, and resilience
in Yemen, particularly in areas prone to natural hazards.
The overall scope of this work includes the supply and delivery as well as, Installation, testing, operation and maintenance of the equipment for the flood EWS in Sanaa, including:
" Geographic expansion of the existing monitoring infrastructure.
" Upgrading and strengthening the control center data collection, monitoring systems as well communication networks.
" Training program for local authorities, emergency responders, and community members on utilizing the upgraded EWS effectively.
International bidders shall provide evidence of agreement with a local representative in Yemen together with the detailed address of the representative.
