Purpose

The Medium-Term Agenda and Multi-sectoral Strategic Plan for Child, Adolescent and Maternal Health and Nutrition 2023-2028 aims to develop strategic objectives, set targets and priority actions, and allocate budget to promote health, nutrition, and family planning and reduce the burden of disease, all forms of malnutrition, mortality, and morbidity among the Filipino children, adolescents, and the mothers.

Objectives

1. To establish an extensive baseline situational analysis of the current situation, gaps, strengths and opportunities of child, adolescent, and maternal health and nutrition in the Philippines and the status of implementation of various key programs of the Department of Health directed to these life stages;
