Upgrade of Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities’ with WASH. (Албания - Тендер #42671597)

Upgrade of Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities infrastructure with gender, disability-sensitive and inclusive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Infection Prevention Control (IPC), waste management and energy-efficient equipment to facilitate the provision of COVID-19 rapid testing & treatment and vaccination in Eswatini.

The objective of the assignment is to upgrade fifteen (15) selected HCF in terms of Basic WASH, IPC, waste management, sustainable energy, and training of healthcare workers on WASH infrastructure maintenance including the development of a maintenance plan with a gender, disability -sensitive and inclusive lens to facilitate the provision of COVID-19 rapid testing, treatment, and vaccination in Eswatini.
1. To maintain regular cleaning and disinfection practices in the HCFs.
2. To practise frequent and proper hand hygiene in the HCFs.
3. To safely manage healthcare waste in the HCFs.
4. To operate on sustainable solutions to lower carbon emissions and foster environmental sustainability in the HCFs.
5. To address issues of inequities across geographic (rural and urban) areas and among primary, and secondary HCFs.
