REQUEST OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) seeks expression of interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for the provision of Linoleum Flooring Sheets and related Adhesives. The vendor is responsible for supply and delivery of the goods to DAP Kinshasa and Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo and DAP Entebbe, Uganda on as and when required basis for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension for additional two (02) more years 2. While the specifications indicate the general nature of the goods to be provided, it must be distinctly understood that MONUSCO reserves the right to alter the extent of the work as may be found desirable without in any way invalidating the conditions of the contract. 3. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly, intends to issue a Request for Invitation to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill MONUSCO requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be required to complete UN Vendor registration for level 1 on the UN vendor database accessible at www.ungm.org 4. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company’s profile, capacity/capability and experience. Vendors will be shortlisted based on their ability to provide the relevant documents showing that they are able to meet the requirement. Interested vendors must provide the following documents with their response. 5. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation to submit bids. 6. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the solicitation documents. MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline indicated below. 7. The expressions of interest may be submitted by email to monusco-vendorqueries@un.org with cc to: tirhas.tsegai@un.org and mazise@un.org, with subject "EOI-Supply and Delivery of Linoleum Flooring Sheets and related Adhesives to Kinshasa, Goma and Entebbe" to be received no later than 15 June 2023, 15:00 hours (GMT +1).
