Coordinate adaptation interventions in identified high vulnerability health care facilities in Northern and Western Divisions, Fiji (Албания - Тендер #37023444)

BACKGROUND

The Climate-Resilient and Environmentally Sustainable Health Care Facilities (CRESCHF) guidelines were developed through collaboration between WHO DPS and the Fiji MoHMS to assist all stakeholders in the health sector to incorporate climate resilience and environmental sustainability into health care projects. The implementation of the CRESCHF guidelines is guided by the Standard Operating Procedure for Implementation (SOP-I) which is annexed in the Guidelines. According to the CRESHCF implementation plan (IP), all HCF in Fiji are required to undergo the CRESHCF assessment. To prioritize the assessment of HCF based on their vulnerabilities to climate hazards, it was suggested that the Climate Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment (CHVA) be used as the main criteria for HCF selection.
