SADC Regional Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis Programme: Institutionalisation Service Provision, 2018-2021, Phase 2
SDC seeks the services of a competent organisation or consultancy firm to develop and facilitate the establishment of an institutionalisation and sustainability framework for the RVAA programme within the SADC Secretariat and member states. The mandate will consist of 2 components, i.e. (i) Organisational/management review process, and (ii) Institutionalisation support processes. The organisational/management review process should consist of carrying out a detailed assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of national vulnerability assessment committees’ current organisational/governance structure and management system(s) in achieving its goals in the context of regional and country evolving needs. This assessment should lead to the development of an action plan and accompaniment of SADC member states to ensure institutional positioning and integration of assessments and analyses in national government work, responsibilities and ownership.
