II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Strategic Communication and Engagement Department of the University of the West of England (UWE) is seeking to appoint a supplier to provide marquee hire services for its graduation award ceremonies, held during July and November each year at Bristol Cathedral. Approximately 6 000 students graduate in July and another 2 000 in November, with 3 one-hour ceremonies per day taking place across a 10 day (July) and 5 day (November) period. The marquee is used for around 90 minutes after each ceremony, hosting celebratory refreshments as well as vendors selling University memorabilia. Detailed information on the requirement can be found in the tender documents.
