GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

This is an update to the General Procurement Notice for this project published on the EBRD website on 10 February 2003.

Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Syktyvkarskiy Vodokanal", (the Client), the municipal water utility owned by the "Syktyvkar" City District Municipalty (the "City") has signed a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the "Bank") and intends using the proceeds of the loan for a project to enhance the municipal water supply and sewerage infrastructure and services as well as to improve the quality of drinking water and sewerage systems in order to achieve positive environmental benefits and improved living conditions. The project has been included on the priority list under the Northern Dimension Environmental Partnership ("NDEP") and is co-financed from the NDEP support funds. Total estimated project cost is EUR 21.0 million equivalent.

All contracts financed from the loan have been already procured. The remaining portion of NDEP grant will be used for procurement of the following goods and works and services:

Supply of water intake equipment for retrofitting of run-of-river intake portal.

Tendering for the project is commenced in the third quarter of 2017.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of NDEP grant will be tendered in accordance with the EBRD"s Procurement Policies and Rules. The proceeds of the NDER grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser"s country.
