Politiets Fellestjenester has, on behalf of the Police, carried out a market survey on average speedometers with and without video. The RFI revealed that there is only one tenderer in the market who can offer such a system. This supplier is Palmenco AB, who the Police currently have a contract with. Politiets Fellestjenester would therefore like, on behalf of the Police, to enter into a new contract with Palmenco AB. The total contract length will be 4 years.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The police currently use the Trip Track system from Palmenco AB. The system enables average speed measurements with and without video, from both cars and motorbikes. The instrument is used to obtain evidence that a driver in a vehicle has kept a specific average speed.

There are currently approx. 300-400 systems in use and the police have procured 130 speedometers in the last 3 years.

Response from the RFI shows that only the current supplier, Palmenco AB, can provide this service. Politiets Fellestjenester would therefore like, on behalf of the Police, to enter into a framework agreement for new four years.

After the deadline for the RFI expired, there was only one tenderer, the current supplier, who could provide the wanted system. Based on this, Politiets Fellestjenester would like to enter into a new framework agreement with the current supplier. The maximum contract period is 4 years.
