Programme Management Adviser - Kiribati Fisheries
• Two-year full-time contractor assignment (230 working days per annum)
• Working within the Joint Kiribati Sustainable Fisheries Development and Management Programme (“the Programme”)
• New Zealand Government development assessment programme
• October 2017 start date (or as soon as possible)
The New Zealand Government has partnered with the Government of Kiribati to ensure timely and cost effective results for the Kiribati fisheries sector and the New Zealand Aid Programme. We seek
an individual with extraordinary programme management skills, patience, creativity and tenacity to help us achieve this. Located within the Kiribati Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources
Development (MFMRD), the Programme Management Advisor sits at the heart of a Programme that will support MFMRD to take greater leadership and ownership of the Kiribati fisheries sector. The
Advisor will transfer programme management and coordination skills, experience and knowledge to MFMRD staff.
The first 2 years of this assignment will comprise an initial full time role resident in Tarawa working 230 days per annum. The role may be extended for a further 2 year period potentially on a
