Overview :
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF) in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is implementing the Sustainable Management of Namibia’s Forested Lands (NAFOLA) Project with funding from the Global Environmental Facility (GEF). The project aims to reduce pressure on forest resources by facilitating the gazettement of community forests, and increasing the capacity for the uptake of improved agriculture, livestock and forestry management practices in the community forest areas. NAFOLA is supporting the construction of two offices at Otji-West and Oshaampula Community Forests in Kunene and Oshikoto Region respectively. The project seeks to recruit a consultant to design, cost, prepare tender documents and supervise the construction work. UNDP is seeking to hire an experienced civil engineer consutant to design, cost, prepare tender documents and supervise the construction work for two similar offices in Otji-West and Oshaampula Community Forests in Kunene and Oshikoto Region respectively. The expected output of the assignment is to provide technical services to UNDP for an efficient, qualitative and timely completion of the construction of the two offices in Kunene and Oshikoto Region.
