Short description Prior Information Notice with the Purpose of Inviting Market Consultation for a Customer Portal and Customer Relationship Management Platform for Dublin City Council Detailed description Dublin City Council adopted a new Channel Management Strategy in 2018 focusing on improving both the customer experience of engaging with Dublin City Council Services and the delivery of these services. A key element of this strategy is the deployment of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform that supports the management of these services from the Customer Portal through to the fulfilment. After reviewing the capability of its existing CRM the Council has decided to seek a replacement CRM Platform. Without prejudice to competition in the marketplace, this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being used to invite interested economic operators to participate in market consultation to assist us in assessing the various options which are available to us to allow us to develop specifications to ensure that any future tender process delivers the optimum solution to DCC before commencing a tendering process. Dublin City Council is interested in hearing from economic operators in relation to all aspects of a corporate Customer portal and CRM system to be used by the local authority, which may include on-premises, cloud, or hybrid solutions. The market consultation may also assist Dublin City Council in the development of the procurement strategy for any subsequent competition. The procurement strategy may include the possibility of using Lots. Following this market consultation, it is anticipated that Dublin City Council will publish a call for competition in due course on www.etenders.gov.ie and, if warranted, in the Official Journal of the EU. Please note that this is NOT a call for competition and no tender documents are available at this stage. Also this process will not be utilised in order to preclude any further competition to be conducted by Dublin City Council. Please refer to the attached documentation for further information.
