VII.2)Information about modifications

VII.2.1)Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

The contract is being modified due to additional work that was unforeseen and therefore not taken into account in the original tender. The modification to the contract is provided for in Section 72 (1)(b) of S.I. No 284 of 2016 (European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations).

Contract is on a draw down basis, i.e. not time bound. Original contract was for 175 days. This is now increased by 87,5 days (50 %) to 262.5 days.

Original value was 210 000 EUR (ex VAT). New value is 315 000 EUR (ex VAT). An increase of 50 % of the original value.
