smallick@bharatpetroleum.in) SOME SALIENT TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER ARE AS UNDER: =========================================================== 1. Contractors are
specifically requested to go through the Tender minutely and consider their capability/all other aspects, prior to quote. 2. It is to be noted that job is to be carried out within
a very tight frame of time schedule i.e. 30 days only from date of Letter of Intent/ Work Order. In view of this, contractors are specifically requested to consider their
capability/all other aspects, prior to quote. 3. The subject tender is a limited tender and is being floated on Single Bid System. 4. Income tax would be deducted as per statutory
requirement as applicable. 5. The tenderer must accept all our terms & conditions without any deviation, failing which the said offer will be straightway rejected without any
further reference. 6. The Offered price should be firm and valid for 90 days from the due date of tender. No change of rates will be entertained. 7. All the materials, tools,
tackles, labour, etc required for the job will be under the scope of the contractor. 8. Job is to be executed at operating locations, hence, all safety norms as well as
operational convenience of locations are to be adhered as per practice. 9. Proper PPEs like Safety Helmet, Safety Shoes, Boiler suit, Gloves, Safety Harness, etc to be worn by the
workers. 10. NO CHILD LABOUR SHALL BE EMPLOYED FOR THE JOB. 11. Only Non-Sparking tools are to be used for execution of the job. 12. No sub-contract shall be allowed or
responsibility allowed to be shifted by the contractor for the job. 13. Payment will be made only after 100% successful completion of job. 14. Payment Term is - on 15th day of
successful completion of job and submission of the invoice at BPEC, Mumbai. 15. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT : The tenderer shall be required to submit along with this quotation an
amount for a sum equivalent to 5 % of the total tendered value of works as EMD (earnest money deposit) subject to a minimum of Rs.5,000/- and maximum or Rs.25,000/- The
permissible forms of Deposit are: I. Bank Draft drawn in favour of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd payable at Jamshedpur or II. Bank Guarantee (BG) executed by any Scheduled Bank
approved by Reserve Bank of India as per the proforma. The BG shall remain valid for a period of six months from the due date of opening the tender. "However, this clause is not
applicable to the Contractors registered with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited". 16. Any delay in completion of the job will be viewed seriously and the penalty as per
standard LD clause will be effected. 17. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES:- If the successful tenderer does not complete the work within the scheduled time, the company reserves the right to
recover liquidated damages @ 0.5% of the total executed contract value for every week of delay or part thereof subject to a maximum of 5% of the total executed contract value
until the work is satisfactorily completed and handed over. 18. SECURITY DEPOSIT:- The successful tenderer has to submit security deposit in the form of DD drawn in favour of
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd payable at Ranchi or Bank Guarantee in the standard format of BPCL for an amount equivalent to 5% of the tendered value of the job, subject to a
minimum of Rs. 5000/- and a maximum of Rs. 25000/-. The security deposit shall be retained till the successful completion of the job under the contract and if Bank Guarantee is
submitted the same to be kept valid till the completion of the work under the contract and shall be extended from time to time. No interest will be payable on security deposit
