The system shall be an electronic management system for cases, projects, assets, documents, files and other data that governs the formation, supervision, management, processing, use and preservation of information. It is important that the system supports operational procedures at different departments and working units and administration of quality of affairs, meeting management, group work, contracts, project management, document filing and customers relation management. The system needs to offer flexibility for adaptation and customization because of operational procedures and processes, since the operations of Reykjavik City are diverse and the needs of individual working units may differ in terms of registration and handling of cases and projects.
